Frequently Asked Questions

How often do we meet for therapy?

We often begin with weekly sessions to build consistency, connection, and a strong foundation for our work together.

As we begin to make progress and move toward your goals, sessions may shift to every other week, and eventually to monthly check-ins as things feel more stable.

Over time, therapy may come to a natural close or “graduation” as you begin to feel more comfortable carrying what you’ve gained into your daily life and needing less support.

The pace is always flexible and guided by your needs, and we’ll work together to find a rhythm that feels supportive and meaningful for you.

When is your availablity for therapy appointments?

My current availability is Monday through Thursday, between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

Availability may vary, so feel free to reach out to check current openings or find a time that works best for you.

Where are you located? Do you offer in-person sessions?

I currently offer telehealth sessions only.

Clients must be located in California, as I am registered to practice in California at this time.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes! I am able to accept Aetna insurance through my clinical supervisor (Trisha Church, PsyD, LPCC#13755), who is credentialed with Aetna. Please feel free to reach out if you’d like to explore this option.

What are your session fees outside of insurance?

My standard rates are $150 for individual sessions and $175 for couples and families.

I also offer a limited number of more accessible options through Open Path Collective, with sessions at $70 for individuals and $80 for couples and families.

If this isn’t the right financial fit for you at this time, you’re always welcome to reach out. I’m happy to offer referrals or help connect you with other options that may feel more supportive.

Do you offer sliding scale options?

At this time, I am able to offer a limited number of reduced-fee sessions through Open Path Collective. This can be a helpful option if you’re looking for a more accessible rate.

If you’re unsure whether this feels like the right fit, you’re always welcome to reach out. I’m happy to help you explore options or find what feels most supportive for you.

Do you offer a free consultation to see if we’re a good fit?

Yes! I’m excited to offer free, 15-minute consultations for prospective clients. This is a gentle space for us to briefly connect, answer any questions you may have, and see if it feels like a good fit for you.

It’s important that you feel comfortable and supported, so this time is simply an opportunity to get a sense of what working together might feel like, with no pressure to move forward.

If you have any questions at all, you’re always welcome to reach out. I’m here to help.
